Olive oil soaps can be used to wash the body, hands, face and hair. Grated soap can be added to household washing water. Grated soap can also be used to make washing powder and to make liquid all- purpose soap.
Washing Powder recipe:
- 2 parts grated olive oil soap
- 1 part baking soda
- 1 part washing soda (bake for 30-60 minutes in a baking soda tray at 200C and we have the baking soda)
- 1 part borax

The main ingredient of beeswax creams and olive oil soaps is family-produced olive oil in the village of Lymbia in Nicosia/Cyprus. Beeswax as well as several essential oils used in the preparations are also locally produced.
